Licensed Aircraft Engineer, B2 (CMIV) License (Aviation / Avionics)

(Singapore - Singapore)
Responsibilities:
  • Our Client is a reputable & well-established Aviation MNC with offices worldwide. They are looking for highly versatile, analytical, professional and experienced individual to join them.
  • Ensure all necessary customers' and department documentation is properly updated.
  • Manage relationship between the company and assigned customers to ensure satisfaction and a long term business relationship.
  • Evaluate maintenance performed by contracted service provider to ensure they comply with all regulations and standards.
  • Respond to all airline issues related to operation and maintenance of in flight systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and assistance to customers in troubleshooting and resolving system & interface problems.
  • Monitor failure trends and possible quality or reliability problems. Communicate findings with Engineers to ensure accurate, timely resolution.
  • Investigate and resolve system operation and/ or maintenance issues, including identifying the size and scope of the problem, reporting and implementing a recovery plan, utilizing areas of expertise elsewhere in the company.
  • Consistently exhibit professionalism in order to enhance our customer's perception of the company.
  • Support other maintenance services airlines that come in during your shift who have zonal or total failure but keeping priority on the assigned customer at all times.
  • Attend meeting and share the events of the meeting with co-workers.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Aviation / Aeronautics / Astronautics); Electrical Engineering or any Engineering related field.
  • Minimum 5 years in Aviation, in particular maintenance, engineering, tech services, avionics, or other similar technical field.
  • License of EASA B2 (CMIV) (Communications, Navigation, Radar, Instrument and Electrical Systems) is highly desirable.
  • Possess direct related experience with Software, Maintenance, Engineering systems in Airframe, Aviations, Avionics, Aerospace MNCs environment.
  • Avionics and/or Airframe background is highly desirable.
  • Possess either FAA A&P, CAAS B2, UK CAA B2 or other internationally recognized license is required.
  • Familiarity with FAR, FAA, and CAA requirements desirable, A&P, or FCC license desirable.
  • Well versed in software like Token Ring/Ethernet LANs; RF Signal Conditioning and Distribution: Audio/Video Encoding; Microprocessor based controllers; embedded Software; Analog Audio/Video Circuits.
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills and able to relate well.
  • Possess good sense of responsibility and a demonstrated team player.
  • Analytical, energetic with pleasant personality and positive service mindset at all times.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Demonstrate good written and oral communicating skills as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Dynamic and flexible individual and prepared to be hands on with good multitasking skills.
  • Good ability to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • High fluency in both spoken & written English.
  • Willing and open for shift work.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Microsoft Excel and Access).
  • Applicants who can commence work either on an immediate basis or within short notice will have an added advantage!
